Type 410 Stainless Steel Coil - Strip - Sheet (annealed) is the basic, general purpose, hardenable martensitic stainless steel.  It is used for highly stressed parts with good corrosion resistance and strength.  Type 410 resists corrosion in mild atmospehres, steam and many mild chemical environments.  The alloy can be heat treated to obtain high strength with good ductility. 

In Annealed: Tensile Strength KSI, Min. 65,000 with Yield Strength of 30,000 and elongation of 20%

Melting Range:  2700-2790 F / 1482-1532 C
