Type 420 Stainless Steel Coil - Strip - Sheet (annealed) is a martensitic chromium stainless steel capable of being heat treated to a maximum hardness of approximately Rockwell C50.  It has better corrosion restance, in general, in the hardened and tempered condition than in the annealed condition.

  In Annealed: Tensile Strength KSI, Min. 100,000 with Yield Strength of --- and elongation of 15%

  Melting Range:  2650-2750 F / 1454-1510 C
